PBTR what did you expect with Simmons and Snider so low, especially in a frenzy when you don't get compensated for losing picks? :roll: Maybe it's just me but I use completely different draft strategies for frenzy than for waiver.

Well I don't see that anyone had picked Simmons yet, if I don't get him I'm likely to get Yaz. Just like I'll probably get Speaker, who I considered taking anyways, for not getting Snider.

I think you're a lot more optimistic than me. I'd be surprised if you get any of the guys named in your last post, but who knows. We'll see shortly. I think I drafted Mantle in Round 15; betting that no one else drafts him. I think in a Frenzy Mantle is a no lose pick. Don't care if I get him. If any top CF gets overlooked, I'm good. Plus I can immediately drop him during the frenzy and pick up anyone else -- most likely before anyone else can (except of course Nev). Worst case, I get Mantle.

Drafting a top CF anywhere but top 3 is almost a guarantee to get Hack Wilson - at least that's what I've found. He does make an easy first drop to free up cash for FA signings, but I've had bad luck with that strategy.
