March Madness B2, Rd 2 - Panzer wins 101!

Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

BC...'78 DeCinces is a terrific card for your stadium, and Clemens doesn't have a bad card. I only traded Clemens because my pitching coach couldn't get him to take lessons from Luis Leal. :D

Your on a hot streak now and only a handful of wins away from survival. With 42 games to go, I like your chances a lot.

Arse Backwards

Take 3 games from Panzer but my team struggles against sub-.500 teams

Go figure!

On another note, I know I have Doran's 1st year card (11 triples and a handful of HRs) but his stats this year are no where near his actual performance.

I'm going to keep Jim Rice to see what card I got stuck with .... smells a lot like Year 5 (piss-poor season) but the # of triples has Year 2 feel to it.

Panzer has lost 8 of 12. Could he possibly have an Achilles' tread?

My thought, you have to out HR the guy to beat him. Otherwise, he has every power season for his starting nine (9) but I can't say that for his SPs.

My frontline rotation has been as good as they come despite my average run support (see the stats - not one SP in the Top 10 for run support) so I probably caught a fricking break when my hurlers kept Panzer's bats from uncorking. :?

Into divisional play we go...which means 12 games against Panzer. :(

Top 8 go on, right? WE've got quite a race going on for the bottom-4 games separate 6/7/8 and 12th. Hopefully my recent additions of Dusty Baker and Ray Knight will propel my team to the next round.

I see a light at the end of the tunnel and it appears to be getting bigger at a very fast rate of speed!

Any hitter on my team is available for a starting pitcher that can consistantly get someone out.

I'm 69 and 60 and just dumped half of my pitching staff! I feel much, much better, despite the addition of Caudill, Barry Jones and Smithson.
