Well here we are ..the 1st ATGIII league and the competition is in the league is going to be brutal . I went 3 Rivers '79 15-15-12-12 .

My top 10 was like this:

Cobb ( figured maybe I'd get him with all the new players)
Mattingly
Murphy
Garber ( my fave )
Jim Rice
Grich
Allen
Fisk
Lefferts
Kessinger

I have no idea if this is good or not but it should be fun if I can win a few . Its a fresh start and there's no way I want to get so far under 500 (like II) that I can't ever catch back up .

I went Sportsman (the L one, 14-14-19-4)

Had Snider, Rizzuto, Ott, N Ryan, Kluszewski and B williams as my top, forgot after that.

Can't really remember whom i picked since in my initial excitement i picked three squads right away. Since this is the first team it is safe to assume that i chose mostly new hitters. Sisler and other high avg newbies.

Well Cobb is mine too bad I have no 1b (at all), unusable cf/3b and 3 corner outfielders. Plus I need to replace a non-* with a * (anyone want Pierce?). At least I have waiver slot 4.
