NL Only League / 60 mil Cap & Live Draft

Our historical single season sets

Postby JayJelinek » Fri Oct 14, 2005 10:51 am

Exclusion work completed for all AL players on all AL teams.

I also mistakenly excluded the Astrodome but we aren't drafting stadiums in any case.

Riggo, if you want help excluding NL players from the AL draft let me know. I sprained my ankle (but good) last weekend so I've got more time than normal to sit at a keyboard.... 8)

i could be an alternate if you need one riggo...had about ten proxies set and all but one gobbled up. glad to see riggo take staub since I originally had him at the top of my proxy list as was looking at murder's row of alou, clemente, staub, bench, but 60m is far too small to have staub as a dh, and riggo made the decision for me. shamsky's not a bad sub, and atleast he can play a bad lf or 1b. weasled off the list were hebner, colbert brock, POPOVICH!, taylor, and g.perry.

Thanks for the offer but if you want to start a draft BEFORE MONDAY, I can not ...if after monday...ok for me
ONE REQUEST>....I didn't realize that when my proxies fired, I got my 2 more expensive guys from my groupings AND I forgot that this is a 60 million cap league...is it POSSIBLE TO DROP KOOSMAN and pick another player before we go much further???
I will be on line one more time before I leave tonight for Chicago..if it is OK"d and must be a pitcher, let me know too...I can do that ...but with McCovey and Koosman, I am CRIPPLED financially.

sneeze, go ahead and put koosman on the drop list, I'll approve it and we need one more as long as no one has a problem with it.

Dropping Koosman is OK by me.

Meat, if we need an alternate for the AL league, you're first on list. Sneeze, hopefully we'll get everyone on board before monday, but if we're still looking for someone at that point, you're in. Check the threads when you're back home to see what's up.

Thanks to Jay & Meat for excluding AL players from this draft - that should make things much easier for all of us! 8)

sneeze has probably blown as it were, but just approved the koosman drop...maybe one of his proxies will kick in to replace him...waiting on brool and then jack to turn corner to trich and start second half of top ten draft list...

HERE I AM...the weather out of NY was so horrible tonite, the flight got pushed back to 11 PM (And that is being optimistic)...so I am back home with my 3 kids shoving off at 7AM tomorrow ....but of course before I go to sleep, took care of the draft (aren't I good to all of you)....
Put in Seaver for myself with that pick (still expensive but it gives me another 3 million in reserve to blow elsewhere)!
This truly will be my last post until Sunday PM

[color=red:80b99b20b5][b:80b99b20b5]DRAFT ISSUE![/b:80b99b20b5][/color:80b99b20b5]

I accidentally EXCLUDED [b:80b99b20b5]Sandy Valdespino[/b:80b99b20b5] who should be eligibel for National League. He's an outfielder priced at 1.91M.

I've sent an email to penngray requesting that Valdespino get added back to draft site. Sorry about that fellas.

Other than that, we've made it into the 7th round, so progress is good. Now if I could just find a few more good hitters...
