New single season set coming???

I've noticed that 1980 leagues are getting slow to fill up, and that set was released some time ago (getting close to seven months) . . . is a new single season set going to be released sometime soon?

I have to admit, I've done quite poorly with the 1980 set, so I'm more than ready for something new (or bring back an older set, like 1971). '82 has been out there for a while, too.

currently no way to play a season from 50s or 60s or 70s...... how about a set from one of those years (and not 77 done that already). a 60's set (not 69 done that too although it's been years) would be cool.

It's getting close to a year since they release the 1980 set . . . I have to believe they'll release another single season soon, right? I won't play 1980 again; guess I'll just hold my money for awhile.

The silence on this post speaks volumes. Originally they had proposed a new set every couple months (seemed like 4-6 months) now crickets.....

Coincidentally, Hal Richman emailed his end of year letter today. Here is an excerpt:

Opening Day will see three new seasons released this year in Basic, Advanced, and Super-Advanced format.

1985: Forty years after its initial release, the 1985 season returns with full Super- Advanced features. As in 2025, the World Series went seven games, but this one endedas a blowout. Bret Saberhagen pitched an 11-0 complete-game shutout to clinch the title for the Royals. Don Mattingly and Willie McGee were the league MVPs.

Opening Day in Glen Head is in February.

Thanks for the update about 1985 (1952 is also mentioned as a single season being made available) . . . but I find it disconcerting that Hal didn't mention 365 when referencing the 1985 and 1952 seasons.

Am I reading too much into this, or is there a reason why he didn't mention '85 and '52 in connection with 365?

A close reading would say that you are not reading to much into it, MRichards16. There is nothing in Hal's message that explicitly says 1985 is coming to 365. We'll find out in a month. Hopefully, as long as they're making a Windows version they'll do the same for 365.
