Some baseball trivia... Paul and Lloyd Waner who were respectfully nicknamed "Big Poison" and "Little Poison" got their nicknames from Brooklyn fans...while the brothers were like poison to the opposing teams pitchers "poison" was actually Brooklynese for "person". Hailing from Brooklyn myself i do not speak with such an accent though my stepdad did. He would say terlit(toilet) filam(film) and earl (oil) just like Archie Bunker from All in the Family.

So.........gotta ask - did he call you "meathead"?
