Since we're down to just two more rounds, I would imagine that we will be setting up the new league before much too long. How are the divisions being assigned?

Are we going to immediately proceed to the next draft, or is there going to be a brief respite?

I know it is a ways off yet but just to let everyone know I will be out of town from April 20 to somewhere around May 1. As long as a hotel has a lobby computer I will be able to check in once or twice per day. Some hotels do and some don't. I don't own a laptop or any other type of portable computer.

This means we cannot draft to meet the evolving needs of the division opponents. I am willing to change this to the standard East: 1, 4, 7, 10 method if the majority like that better.

Please post your preference.

This was what we agreed to (or at least what was established and not changed). As we wind down I will get the division assignments taken care of. We have one league about 50 games in and another finishing up the draft. I would say we plan to start the next draft in about 2 weeks. But I am open to other ideas too.

All these one-liners are getting painful! ;)

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful!

I can't hate a fellow Twin Cities guy who has at least a foot and a half of snow in the yard and 3 ft of snow along the driveway from the snowblower. I hear we have freezing rain Friday night/Saturday morning. That's always lovely.

Sammy Esposito played in the same softball league as my father on the southside of Chicago back in the early 1950's. I had to take Sammy for that.

No relationship to either Phil or Tony to my knowledge, but here is a nice little SABR biography of the scrappy Sammy Esposito...
