Forget that - looks like the park numbers are different and they just read '86

Love this 82 set. It has a variety of unbalanced ballparks, making building teams to fit your ballpark a whole lotta fun.
There are significant limitations---not much LH power, few dominant relievers, very few RH sluggers that are balanced favorably against righties--and all these limitations make drafting very interesting.

If you are building a team for a RH power park, there are two RH hitters that crush righty pitching---Andre Dawson and Guerrero.

There are lots of righty power hitters that crush lefties, but not a lot of lefty starters.

And SS is a very challenging position to fill, not many good defensive SS or SS's that can hit.

Very challenging to build a team in a non-DH league, as many of the big hitters are terrible defenders.

I agree, I am very excited that they added a whole new season.... They should do this at least once a year.

I have Andre Dawson in a right hand hitters' park. I am just worried because he clearly struggles against lefties, so much so I might platoon him.

I don't have a problem platooning an 8.5 million center fielder with a 2.5 million dollar guy, it is not much different than spending 10.5 million on your CFer and .50 on his backup.

The right handed part of the platoon is going to get 500 plate appearances, and you are better off during times of injury.

Yeah, I think you are both right depending upon your team makeup and salary cap. I have Wilson on my team and have him batting 9th vs. lefties. Basically, he is a Defensive Specialist vs. lefties....but if he does hit one of his singles, he can be at 2nd base one pitch later and my top of the order is up to bat. If I could afford a $2M lefty slanted platoon guy, I would do that as well.
