Once I hear from the other 3 guys, Cummings, Sandy and Smokey, I'll start the hunt for replacement owners, can't see rushing into that yet as we likly won't start until april sometime.

Some things to consider by going to 1 season, it means no supplemental draft and only one prospect draft. we may need to make the prospect draft longer.

I only see one trade that effects 2013 drafts and it's in the free agent draft so that shouldn't cause any problems.

Anyone hear from him, I've sent him 3 e-mails in as many days with nary a peep, who doesn't check their e-mail at least one a day these days

I'm not that far down the line yet, and there's a couple of things to consider:

1. I have not made any decisions on replacements and hope that I get enough vets interested, no offense to new players, but we have had issues in keepers in the past with newer players that do not understand the commitment and bail after a year and that is a major PITA. Ideally I'd like to get 6 or 7 guys that are interested and hold a lottery to determine which 3 ( or 4) guys get in, and which team they will get the choice of.

2. According to the rules, which the new players will get once I deceide who they'll be:

5) Cumulative team records will determine the divisional assignments for Season 1 of each new year.

I still have not plugged in last years results to see what the cume's are yet, but the new owners would be beholden to their team's previous record. This hold true for draft order as well which is also determined by previous record.

New owners would also have to uphold any trades effecting this year's draft that were made by the previous owner. Basically the team is it's onw entity and the new manger is just that.

One other thing, this league won't be starting, that is drafting, until April at the earliest. I agreed to step in as commish, but only if we lessened the load, by making it a once a year league and having the later start.
