ARBL (AL 1961-1979 Replay) - Need Managers

The name of our league is the American Retro Baseball League. This is a replay, draft-league using the computer system for the AL beginning with 1961. Our goal is to play through 1979 before any of our older players (including me) find ourselves at the Field of Dreams. We use all of the basic items of the AL (schedules, ballparks, team info, etc.) except rosters which are drafted. Our current season (1961) is coming up on the All Star Break and will complete the playoffs (one of the few historical exceptions) around 1/17/2017. There are several teams available for this season which are being managed by the computer. This first season has been a learning experience for some of our managers, but going forward we intend to implement many features of the computer game we did not in 1961 season. Beginning with 1962 there will be an online draft by the managers (1961 was drafted by computer and managers selected a team). We will allow trades and there will be more Free Agents. Some issues such as roster size will be determined by league vote.
