I've had some conversations with gamiam privately, but I'll put my suggestion out here.

Since the last 4-6 franchises have 0-1 usable players in a 250M league format, I believe the top 6 picks may have an extra advantage in that they have first choice at the franchise list, plus have access to three franchises instead of two franchises plus essentially one player that the later managers have. My recommendations would be reversing the order in round 3, or finding a way to get better choices for the final 3-6 franchise selections.

My suspicions may be wrong, and this may turn out to be a very balanced league. However, if this evolves into something fairly top heavy, that would be my recommendation.

I would basically agree and suggest a 1-12. 12-1, 12-1, 1-12 ordering of the rounds.

Also, perhaps a $200 million cap would suffice.

Another option might be to split some of the power franchises into eras, like NYY db/pre and NYY post/exp as separate choices. That would create more options for team choices as well as making early picks more strategic. It would also impact draft lists, since some players span multiple eras.
