I have highlighted all prospects who recorded 100 or more plate appearances during the 2024 MLB season in yellow. Those with less than 100 PA are highlighted in red. I did this to emphasize that by league rules we are required to immediately activate prospects who are issued cards next season to our 40-man rosters or release them outright.

Yes, I just updated the pitching prospects in similar fashion as the hitters. All of the pitching prospects identified in yellow should have a card, unless Stratomatic makes dramatic changes in the innings pitched threshold that they have used in the past. The only pitcher shaded in red that might possibly be issued a card is Rhett Lowder who pitched 30 2/3 innings, since all of the others in this category threw less than 10 innings last season.

Our preseason prospect draft will officially begin on January 15, 2025 at 0000 EST. I have selected this start date since the MLB International Signing period opens the same day and I do not want the status of any players to change in the middle of our draft. You may select any player who, at the start of our draft, is under contract to a professional baseball team (MLB, KBO, Nippon PBL, etc), but has MLB experience.

The order of the preseason prospect draft is serpentine, in the reverse order of the total wins accumulated by each team during the previous two seasons (2024 Season 1 and Season 2). The first tie-breaker for our other drafts in based upon head-to-head records, but the subsection of the league rules that specifically address the preseason prospect draft currently have no such provision. I will, therefore, be calling for a vote where you will be asked to vote "yes" to officially adopt the same tie-breaker for the preseason prospect draft, or to vote "no" in the event that you would prefer an alternate tie-breaking format to be adopted.

just for clarification……… that part from above that says “but has MLB experience”
shouldn’t it read ………. “but has NO MLB experience”??
