Correct. If you draft him as a prospect you cant use him during 2024 season one but can promote him for 2024 season two. However, if you do that you must pay 600k rather than 500k the following year because he then becomes a pre arbbyear 2 player

500k for this (2024) year but 600k for next (2025)
