Ok, now that we are under way, I have 2 rule proposals to add to our league rules, one is the stadium issue we had discussed but not settled, the other is an issue that has not come up as yet, but I want to ensure it doesn't. All rule changes must have 8 votes to pass.


STADIUM RULE PROPOSAL

Change current 3-year period in a stadium to 2 years. Teams will be allowed to change stadiums every two years in the spring with the release of a new card set. The only exception being new managers who can change the year they enter. Stadium drops will be posted with player drops and a stadium draft will be held concurrently with the prospect draft.

VOTE YES (change to 2 years) or NO (Keep 3 years).

Limit on years for traded draft picks:

I would like to institute a 2-year limit on how far future draft picks can be traded. As of yet it has not been an issue, but I'd like to codify it, so it never does. Team would be limited in trading draft picks only 2 years out from the current year. So, this year managers could only offer as far as 2027 picks.


Vote YES to limit tradable picks to within a 2-year limit of the current year. Vote NO to have no limit.

I make it a habit not to vote on rule changes and have been successful about 90% of the time. I almost always lean towards no rule changes, so I try and stay out of the vote. I will vote in case it is needed to break the tie, and it won't always be no but more times than not it will be.
