1. Speed kills- all starters 1-17 speed A base stealing. No other team can have more than 3 such players. Bench players no restrictions

2. Defense rests- all starters 1 defense. All arms -1 or better. No other team more than 4 no restrictions on bench or dh

3. The right stuff- all righty sp and starters. Righty park as per bs. No other team can have all righty sp no other team can use righty park. All other teams max 6 right handed hitters not including platoon

4. Not left out- same rules as right stuff but all lefty

5. Platoon- at least 6 platoons. No other team can have more than 2 platoons

6. Physically fit. All starters 1 3 game max inj risk or better. No other team can have more than 5

7. 4 aces- 4 plus 10m. Sp. no other team can have more than one

8. 5of a kind- all 5 sp 8m+. No other team can have more than one

9. Fireman. 2 5m plus relievers no other team can have more than one

10. On base- all starters over .400 obp including
platoons. No other team can have more than 4

11.Sluggers 8 bp homers from at least one side of card. No other team can have more than 4

12. Power hitters- 65m plus spent on hitting. No other team can have more than 60m.

Special rules- no extra starting pitchers for example you can have a hard left sp but he must be part of a 4 man* rotation or a 5 non 3 day rest rotation. Lefty and righty teams may use platoons but both players need to hit from right for right teams left for lefty teams

I don’t want to hold things up when Peter drafts here. I’m playing on swinging one way as I haven’t tried either of those yet. If he doesn’t take it I’m going to use an all left handed roster. If Peter takes that one I’ll be all right handed. Just go ahead and post me after Peter picks so Lou can go

Can I get some clarification on what you mean by number 11, sluggers? Does that mean the ballpark used has to have at least an 8, and no one else can have a park with more than a 4? Or do you actually expect us to count the number of "ballpark homer" chances on the card images to figure out what players we can use? How does that team work?

I had same q about HR. Went and looked. Hard to find those kind of cards.I will pick Ian am before 10 est.

FYI - Barry Bonds 73 HR season has 7 total bpHR chances, McGwire 70 HR season has 8, Sosa 66 HR season has 4...I don't think anyone else besides McGwire has 8 total chances.

McGwire 1998 - 4 vs. L, 4 vs. R
Sosa 1998 - 2 vs. L, 2 vs. R
Maris 1961 - 3 vs. L, 3 vs. R

Who has 8?

Or are you counting up the individual rolls (out of the 128 possible or whatever, so that a 2 is 1, 3 is 2, 4 is 3 and so on ...) in which case:

Bonds 2001 - 8 vs. R
McGwire 1998 - 8 either way
Sosa 1998 - 8 vs. R
Maris 1961 - 8 vs. R

But so does Gehrig '34, Walker '97, Vinny Castilla '98, Jay Buhner '96, Gus Zernial '53, and several hundred more players.

BallPark Homers are, generally speaking, distributed at a rate of 8 per card by that count. It is almost impossible to figure out which players would fit into which camp using that method. Or maybe I'm not smart enough to figure it out.

Maybe you could use a certain number of HR's as the cutoff? Or some other measurement?
