Position Draft Thread

My bad, let's do the first round initially. Here is the list:

SP/RP vs SP only question.

My intent was that they are the same, but I see that this is not well defined in the list.

Since we have not started these rounds, SP and SP/RP are the same.

RP means RP ONLY.

Allow me please to say that I feel this decision totally SUCKS. I had hoped to get at least 1 decent SP by using my RP/SP #1 pick here (and hoping that each manager got to use their #1 pick first before we sequenced the rounds)

When I signed up for this league, sschu had posted round 6 as SP and round 8 as RP or SP/RP. I do understand the clarification of round 6 as any SP, but removing the SP/RP from round 8 is a rules change and not a clarification imo

It is not my intent to fill the post with complaints, so I will put this one in smaller font -

BUT with the RP/SP being taken away as an option in my only #1 pick, the dynamic becomes one where in the SP (or any P) rounds I get 2 number 11 picks and a number 7 picks in the rounds where a SP is an option.

If this is a set in stone decision, I will live with it, but I would like to petition sschu to reverse or modify his decision to at least allow the round 8 picks to include a SP/RP.

I would suggest that perhaps (I do not feel as strongly on this) that the preliminary round only be 1 pick for each manager (BMilner may disgree as the only guy with two #1 pitching round picks) to minimize the advantage given by that 13th round or that we NOT have a preliminary round and we go round 1-14 as initially posted.

Fine, I understand and agree. Here is the revised 1st round list:

- Change pitchers to any pitcher
- Drop Round 13 as a Round 1 pick. But will add it at the end of the draft.
