(like a player playing 20 games one year for a team that everyone forgot about so that team owner can sneak in and get him)
Oh yeah the format is set up so all teams can swipe a player from another team depending on how high you rank them. There's the rub how bad do you want player X when he played for 4-5 teams when you also need player A, B, and C? I suggest going to Baseball Reference, then Teams, then Franchise Index, then Batters/Hitters. If a player played an inn for the team it's there. Bottom line it's a crap shoot and while some teams are more dominate over all to start, your FA Pitcher/Hitter can often help an average team make up the difference and compete for a title, at least that's how it's been for other teams I haven't experienced that ...yet.

Pacoboy please note my own draft position, 2nd time in a row I've drawn the 11 hole. I've read her all your comments, overall she just laughs at me and my "Dungeons and Baseball Bats" friends. That's what she and my 2 son's have been calling my addiction for the last 19 years.
It's been awhile since we restarted this league so if you have any of the managers in a league with you then please contact them and get them up to date.
