Also with the confusion/uncertainty about Rule #11 and bpHR - I'd suggest making it based on slugging percentage..?

Most sluggers have 8bp chances at least on I one side. When you click on card Pretty easy to count ‘em

Robert, can you give me an example of such a player?

Bonds 2001 - 4pb chances vs. L, 3 vs. R
McGwire 1998 - 4 vs. L, 4 vs. R
Sosa 1998 - 2 vs. L, 2 vs. R
Maris 1961 - 3 vs. L, 3 vs. R

Who has 8?

Or are you counting up the individual rolls (out of the 128 possible or whatever, so that a 2 is 1, 3 is 2, 4 is 3 and so on ...) in which case:

Bonds 2001 - 8 vs. R
McGwire 1998 - 8 either way
Sosa 1998 - 8 vs. R
Maris 1961 - 8 vs. R

But so does Gehrig '34, Walker '97, Vinny Castilla '98, Jay Buhner '96, Gus Zernial '53, and several hundred more players.

BallPark Homers are, generally speaking, distributed at a rate of 8 per card by that count. It is almost impossible to figure out which players would fit into which camp using that method. Or maybe I'm not smart enough to figure it out.

Maybe you could use a certain number of HR's as the cutoff? Or some other measurement?

No, it isn't easy. See above. What players are you specifically restricting from belonging to other teams?

I'm interpreting rule 11 to mean the entire team must consist only of cards that have 8 ballpark effect homerun chances (8 chances out of the 108 per card) on at least one side (ie, vs LHP or RHP) of the hitter's card.

I'm further interpreting the rule to mean the rest of the teams cannot have any more than any 4 cards that have 8bp HRs on their cards.

Assuming that's the case, I'll email the group a spreadsheet showing the HR chances each card has.

If I'm wrong, I'll pipe down.

Also, since I'm on the west coast and tend to sleep in on Sundays, I'll ask Todd to submit by pick by proxy in hopes of preventing myself from holding up the draft at all.

Ok I will amend #11 slugging percentage doesn’t work because players like Cobb have high slugging pct. So instead of ballpark homers. It will be changed to 35 homers or more. Will have a similar but not exact pool exception will be ss and 2b where it will be 25 or more Other teams can have max 5 not 4
