Are you allowed to have two players with the same letter? In your example it said you had M-R, and that they can pick M or N. So they would have 2 M's or 2 N's in that case.

YES, no limits on how many of a letter you get.

Remember you are building a $160 mil team so as tempting as it may be to get all the good players, you will need a compliant team to autodraft so picking all the same letter could be good...or could be bad.

..and the add/drop restrictions are very ridged when the league starts.

Do NOT say "I'll fix my team later" because - as I stated you must drop / add LETTER FOR LETTER

You can not drop MANTLE to pick up GHERIG and then drop Goslin to pick up MAYS.....no sir, you must drop Mantle to pick up Mays and then Goslin to pick up Gherig IN THAT SPECIFIC ORDER so the FA wire will be CLEAN M for M, G for G.

.....when you are dealing with salary cap and roster restrictions it can get hairy.

One more question, probably a stupid question but want to be clear. We can take any card of the player we draft, right? We don't have to take the most expensive card?

Do that mean you can skip that letter and go to the next one if you so choose? But you don't have to if you don't want to?

Yes, you can skip if you want but you do not have to. Lou can picks 100 M"s if he wants to...but you can only skip to the next letter, you can not skip more than that no matter how many letters you have unless you use a FREE skip

Example: Right now I have "S" so if I get "S" next time I can use a LS = Letter Skip to move to "T" if I want to. I can also then use a FS = FREE SKIP to move to "U"

However, you can not use 2 of the SAME SKIP TYPES in any turn.

Example 2 - next round I get "S" so I use an LS to move to T and take Tekulve. Then in round 3 I get "S" for a 3rd time. I can not move to "U" even though I have both S and T unless I use a Free Skip.

Short answer is YES. In previous versions of this format you needed to draft the specific card for CAP reasons but I chose to avoid that headache.

For the purposes of this draft, I will "ASSUME" you are taking the lowest value card and will not be monitoring the CAP.

I trust you will monitor your own caps.

Anyone who can not draft their chosen 25 will be forced DROP THEIR HIGHEST 365 CARD and that card will not be available to them for the entire season
