Also, please note, EVERYONE, that the draft boards for the 2017 FA Draft and 2017 Prospect Draft have been made. There are tabs for each on the Spreadsheet and all trades (up to now) have already been put in!!

I'm glad you were interested in Michael's offer, Paul. I couldn't keep from thinking that draft rule would come into effect some time and I'd be screwed. All's well that ends well I guess.

And wanted to say thanks for compiling the stats for the spreadsheet.

What the heck does that mean (after the bottom teams have made their selection)? Petco definitely qualifies as the HR categories were changed by 6 and 8 left and right just by themselves.

I want a new ballpark but I don't understand the wording of that rule above (bolded).


Never mind. I get it. haha In other words, I am probably last in the pecking order for new ballparks. That's okay. I can accept that.

Primarily looking for FA Draft picks and prospects/prospect picks. I don't have room to take players back, except in a deal where I can send 2 or 3 for 1. Positionally, I would like to improve LF and SS defense and starting pitching.

I'd also consider moving Khris Davis, Yunel Escobar, or maybe even Kevin Pillar in a deal that would net me a decent shortstop. Right now it is looking like Sean Rodriguez and his 3e33 will be manning the position for me.

Question for Commissioner Paul Long...

Can we go as many rounds as necessary to fill our rosters back to 30 in the Spring FA draft? I noticed you had 12 rounds posted under the 2017 draft tab of the spreadsheet. Was that just a beginning number and not a final list of how many rounds we can go? Can we go 14 or even more rounds to get back to 30 (as many as it takes)?

EDIT: MY BAD!!! I went further right on that 2017 draft sheet and I see that you have at least 16 rounds listed so apparently we can go as many rounds as necessary. That's a correct assumption?
