I have a group of 12-14 managers (bontomn, Frank) who play in my different franchise leagues. I can post a message and I guarantee you will have a replacement.........these guys really enjoy franchise leagues

IM ready to go, still smarting from the Padres utter collapse without a single roster moved being made.

My apologies, gang. With the new card madness, I completely forgot to look at the lottery results on Monday. Let's try this again...

Division assignments will be determined by lottery results as of Wednesday, March 6 at 10AM Eastern.

andycummings - Brooklyn - Los Angeles Dodgers
meat - Boston - Milwaukee - Atlanta Braves
sknsfan - New York - San Francisco Giants

Other pertinent league rules:

We will use the ATG VII set.
No, to the DH option (for the NL).
$100 mil salary cap.
5-10-20% penalties for drops.
Standard game engine rules of 24-28 players.

Autodraft includes only players carded to your team; you choose the year of each player, if there are more than one available.

A player carded to more than one team in the league will only be available during the autodraft to the team for which he played the most games (e.g., Rogers Hornsby belongs to the Cardinals in the autodraft).

Any non-drafted NL-carded player is available during the waivers period, as long as he has played for your team. *

Trades are okay, as long as you only end up with NL-carded players who have played for your team. *

* Due to limited player selection, we will allow the Padres/Rockies and the Expos/Nats/Marlins (only) to draft AL-carded players who have played for them -- not available during autodraft if also NL-carded; available during waivers and later without restriction.

didn't we agree the expansion clubs had to stay together in the west? if my padres could fall completely apart from battling for a division title with the expos, mets and astros to just 72 wins, I dread what those teams will do mixed in with the other powerhouses.

also, can we consider the concept of having a roster never worth more than 100m, but a payroll total of 140 or 200 million so that we could have a true minor leagues?

Meat, you suggested that, however I recall no significant support for the idea...
