I don't think it's going to be as bad as you think. 4 teams each means we each will be using at least 96 different players. Use of a player by another manager doesn't stop anyone else from later using that player. Since we have 4 different ballparks, we wouldn't want to use the same players each season anyway, at least in theory.
I think the biggest concern will be for players with multiple cards, which are most of the stars. If I read the rules correctly, if I use, for example, one of the 6 McGwire cards, that prohibits me from using ANY other McGwire card.
I think the player pool is deep enough to minimize any concerns. Besides, we're all in the same boat and just like any other draft, we'll be competing for the same players and won't get everyone we want anyway. I have 2 lefty parks and 2 righty parks. If I don't get all the players I want the first time I use a lefty or righty park, It should be easier the second time around, as there should be less competition for those players. The worst that can happen is that we end up using some players we've never used.
Good luck to everyone.
