PLAYER MOVEMENT
There have been a number of chats recently about player movement. Basic concepts are that:
- Each player is only eligible to play for one MLB franchise. If you own that franchise, then that player can only play for you. If he has more than one card with your franchise, then you can choose which one you'd like to use.
- Players from the 4 un-owned MLB franchises are available as free agents (along with scattered remnants of older teams). Each team in the 2 - 4 - 6 League can have up to three ringers or players from these un-owned franchises.
- Game engine rules apply as to dropping and picking up players. Penalties of 5%/10%/20% will apply, depending on the stage of the season.
- Managers can drop/pick up players from their own franchises, as desired. They can also drop/pick up ringers, too, as long as they never have more than 3 ringers on the roster at any given time.
- Players who belong to your MLB franchises can NOT be traded, since they only belong to you. Ringers CAN be traded, although managers must still stay within the 3-ringer limit.
- Future free agent draft pick swaps can also be made, as long as each manager still has 3 picks in each draft.
