D2D trash talk and draft comments thread

Here is what we need to do... I also sent this out as an email on 1/16

As soon as the new cards drop (mid February???) we will:

1. Address Stadium changes.
a. anybody can trade stadiums with another owner at anytime (you can do this now)
b. The worst 8 owners by record from the previous season can change to an unclaimed stadium. This will be done in a little mini-stadium draft. The order is based on worst overall record from the two 2015 card seasons to the 8th worst. See league spreadsheet under history (or draft order) to see who this applies to.
c. Any owner who has a stadium that changed by ± 6 in any one category or by ± 15 total in all 4 categories can then switch to an unclaimed stadium. This will be first come first served immediately after the mini-stadium draft in part b above is concluded. To change, simply post it on the D2D trash talk thread.

2. Post your keepers
a. This will be asked for and will probably be done on a new thread in the ILC as it will get lengthy.
b. You must cut your roster down to between 15-20 players.
This includes prospects that you will be calling up. Remember our strict prospect rules (no more than 6 and can only be prospects for 2 years before called up or dropped)


3. FA draft
a. The 2017 (based on 2016 cards) draft will begin as soon as everyone has posted keepers.
b. The order for this draft with all trades already entered in is posted on the league excel sheet under "2017 draft".
c. As we haven't made a rule to change it, the "time slot"
order of picking will continue and after round 1 I will assign slots.
Feel free to pick at anytime as it will go much faster if we don't wait until our time slot to pick. That's just there so someone knows his last possible time to pick, you can definitely pick at any time once you are "up".
d. Please send me proxies when you can to move the draft along.
e. It is highly advised (but not mandatory) that you list
your phone # to receive a simple "you are up to pick" text from me or the vice-commish (Falcon). Many have already done so, thank you.

4. Prospect Draft
a. As soon as the FA draft is concluded we will begin the Prospect Draft.
b. This is a 4-round draft.
c. I had to make a rule on this as nothing was said by Ghost, so here goes.... Everyone can draft their 4 picks in this draft. If you exceed 6 total prospects, which many will, then at the conclusion of the Prospect draft you must tell me who you are dropping. You may not promote anyone at this time as that had to be done during the "post your keepers" phase. To make this clear, here is an example.... Hveed currently has 5 prospects. He promotes Maeda during the posting his keepers phase. He decides not to promote Blair. He now has 4 prospects going into the Prospect Draft. He may still make all of his picks in this year's Prospect Draft. Immediately after the Prospect Draft, he must drop however many prospects he needs to to get to 6 total prospects. He can NOT change his mind and now make Blair a rostered player. Hope that all made sense.

5. Season 1 begins
a. divisional assignments are already posted for season 1 of the 2016 set.
b. Unleashed set/200M cap/10% penalty

Here are the teams that can change (in order). So if you want to change, list your new stadium by your name and edit the unused stadiums list below. If you don't want to change, simply put SKIP next to your name.


The unused stadiums are: Angels Stadium, AT&T Park, Camden yards, Great American ballpark, Miller Park, and Turner Field.

I am leaning toward vacating (the new Coors) Progressive. I will post a choice after the above three make their choices or pass. If anyone is interested in trading stadiums let me know.
