also, can we consider the concept of having a roster never worth more than 100m, but a payroll total of 140 or 200 million so that we could have a true minor leagues?

The New Francisco Giantfolk have now loaded into the east.

And while I have nothing against the lottery picks, might I make a suggestion for the next 10 seasons regarding division alignment.

What if we seed the divisions based on wins from the previous season, not by the owner, but by the teams.

For example, this season would have looked like this:

East:
Giants
Braves
Astros/Diamobdbacks
Cubs

Central:
Dodgers
Phillies
Two of these three (not sure which tie breaker people would like to see)
Reds
Cards
Brewers

West:
Whichever of the above didn't make the cut
Pirates
Expos/Nats/Marlins
Pads/Rockies

i concur with sknsfan...good way of keeping things evened out and competitive

I prefer random division assignments, but if 8 managers want to change to sknsfan's concept, I'd be happy to go along with it.

So far, 3 have liked it. If 5 more like it by Sunday night, then let's change to that. Otherwise, let's load teams as posted, beginning on Monday, March 11.
