Cubs Hired YountFan

PostThu Mar 12, 2015 7:24 am

Chicago (AP) The Chicago Cubs Baseball Clubs announced today that they have hired YountFan as their manager for the 1962 season. Mr Wriggly in a written statement said "...that while the college of coaches looks like good idea on paper, I feel YountFan's managerial abilities are greater than the collective abilities of the coaches. I wouldn't want 26 guys running my gum company, why would I want them running my ball club."
With the addition of Al Kaline and Lew Burdette the Cubs are looking to compete for the crown in what looks like the toughest division in baseball against the Dodgers, Giants and Cardinals. "If they guys play to their potential we'll be right there at the end of the season" said a smiling YountFan.

Texted with Fred a bit earlier. He'll be in today. Central get ready.

In the meantime, check out that media pro Yountfan's contribution to the league blog: http://paulsfranchiseleague.weebly.com/

Not surprised since the Twins and Tigers are probably the two best undrafted teams
