This was the trade I made. It looks like Montgomery never made it to my team either. The picks did, just not the players

BTW, Abreu is no longer on my team. Traded him away.

I assume this is a roster mistake you are pointing out, but it's always helpful if you could let me know exactly where the error is on the roster. Is it the combined tab? is it the rosters tab? did I miss a trade entirely?

It is a little weird. Abreu was traded to Splinter on 1-18-18 from Jerlins. Splinter had Abreu on his roster on the 3-3-18 Copy of the roster, but Abreu moved back to Jerlins roster on the 3-29 list. Perhaps Abreu refused to go to Sp linters team. I know I would refuse!!!

Or perhaps the Commissioner, having rosters on two different computers forgot which one he edited the last between updates.

Or maybe there was copious amounts of alcohol involved, yeah lets go with that.

This piqued my interest since the 60's Royals were the first team I rooted for as a youngster. James wrote about the Yankees and their "farm team", the Athletics, in his 1986 Abstract. Here is an excerpt from a Fangraphs article:

.....Apparently believing that the way to make money in the outlands was as a supplier of talent to the wealthier organizations, Johnson (owner of the Athletics) funneled talent to the Yankees in a long series of three-for-one and five-for-two trades … the certain facts were that: (1) the A’s were a bad team, (2) they traded all of their best players to the Yankees, and (3) after that, they were a worse team.
