It did show 31 until I manually changed it. I had replaced a pitcher with a hitter with my last pick so maybe that confused the counter. I am left wondering if there are any more teams roster totals mis-counted by the automatic counter. Good chance of that if you ask me. I'll have to manually count all the teams and let you know if I find any discrepancies.

Fred, please don't change it manually. I keep checking the counts manually making sure the formulas are all working, and they are all working perfectly. You had added a player that I also added. I didn't know you were adding your own players; that's why you were at 31. I backed out the duplicate name I had put in which took it back to 30.

I put the formula back in where you had deleted it. It should continue to count it correctly, and I will continue to monitor it manually.

Sean, it wasn't working correctly. It counted 11 pitchers on my team and I only had 10 so that's what I corrected. The total then automatically registered that change and went to 30 on its own like it was supposed to.

I'll leave it alone in the future as you requested.

Good news is I just manually counted every American League roster and the totals listed are all correct!

Refsnyder is on my roster, I think he should be on JMP's roster.

Is there a minimum number of players ( besides the SOM 25 minimum ) that we have to be able to field on our teams in this league?

Yes. Strat has a set of rules which includes a minimums of

You must have at least 25 players.
You must have at least 13 hitters
- At least two of those hitters must have catcher as their primary position.
You must have at least 11 pitchers.
You must have at least 5 pitchers who have starting pitcher Endurance ratings (e.g. S7).
You must have at least 5 "pure" relievers (i.e. a relief rating (e.g. R2) but no starter rating).
You must have at least 1 pitcher who has a closer Endurance rating (e.g. C4)

Check your rosters to be sure you meet the minimums-
