As promised, I have pulled my teams out of the Majors and Minors, and will put them back in when the leagues are ready to start. Here's a reminder of the roster rules:

ROSTER MANAGEMENT
3 teams for each franchise
949 players / 12 franchises = 79.08 players each
(11 franchises at 79 and 1 at 80)

Majors: 25 active
Minors: Up to 27 active
Instructional: Up to 28 active

LEAGUE SETUPS
2013 unleashed set
DH: Yes
Drop penalty: 10%
Divisions randomized by game engine

TEAM SALARY CAPS
Majors: $200 mil cap
Minors: $50 mil cap for ACTIVE players on roster
Instructional: $25 mil cap for ACTIVE players on roster

INDIVIDUAL SALARY CAPS
Majors: None
Minors: No more than 3 players over $3.5 mil, with a cap of $4.5 mil for any individual player
Instructional: No more than 3 players over $1.75 mil, with a cap of $2.25 mil for any individual player

Reminder about pitchers...

tcochran wrote:We have a surplus of pitchers this year. As of the end of the 10 initial drafts, all managers will have 34 pitchers or more -- 2 teams drafted wild card pitchers -- and there will still be 26 pitchers remaining in the wild card draft.

This is no big deal, except that HAL only allows 12 pitchers per team -- and even at a total of 36, most managers would not want 12 of their 25 Majors' players to be pitchers.

Unless there are major objections, I recommend that managers be allowed to have:
11 or 12 pitchers in the Majors
12 in the Minors
12 in the Instructional League
1 or more warming up off-roster (to be placed on a roster at some point during the season, so that every player in the card set plays at least once)

Managers who did not actively participate in the latter stages of the wild card draft might find it difficult to put together a coherent team in the Instructional league -- too many pitchers plus gaps at other positions.

Please post your roster needs in this forum, along with the trade bait you could offer to resolve the matter.

Need: Player who can fit in at 1B, Utility IF,

Offering: Jeff Manship, P; Jesus Montero, C.

Incentive to trade: I cannot load my Instructional team without one more position player.

I think we should be able to exchange stadiums after the auto picks and before loading.

There were many times I checked in and waited (sometimes a few days) to pick and then I have a busy day at work and wind up with a selection I would not have made.

Skipped as the default when time is up is better than auto pick and how we do it in most drafts.

With a draft that was not supposed to begin until 11/16 but was 2/3 done by then, there should be no reason to rush and finish with some teams losing selections to a one hour clock. Again, not complaining about moving things along, just think we should skip rather than auto pick.

Trading stadiums is a fine idea. Which one(s) are you offering?

I meant exchange from the list of leftovers.

Clarification

Does the rule mean majors can have 26 players if we choose to have 11 or 12 pitchers
Can the warmup pitcher be in any of the three leagues? Thanks
