Spidey, I hate when that happens, it's even worse when it's in a blowout! In other injury news we get to play GB tonight with Semien (4e38) at SS! Just don't hit it to SS GB!!!!

Well, predictably, Semien killed me. Three SSx hits in game one, loss in extras. I mean, come on, 1-6 isn't an *automatic* hit, but I guess it was for GB.

Well, I knew that was a possibility when I had him as my backup SS. Oh well.

We are "on the road" in Boston, visiting our son and daughter-in-law. In the meantime, forest fires have been less than 1.5 miles from our home in NC. Another son is there to "mind the store." Thankfully, there have been some "sprinkles" this AM.

Wow, we have fallen into a hole. After losing three straight one run games, blowing leads in the 9th in two of them, we dropped three more to Smokey including another blown 9th inning lead.

Getting ugly.

Meanwhile, Falcon who had been languishing at the bottom of the division has gone 9-3 and 16-6!!! And is now in first place. That happened quickly.

Back in the division now, we'll need to right the ship QUICKLY and we won't have Pollock for the first three.

Gee, why did you have to go and say that? It's the ultimate Kiss Of Death. I was hoping to stay under the radar until at least game 120.
Having said that, it's nice to see the boys bounce back from at 2-8 start. It must be the leadership skills that Joey Butler brought when he was picked up on Nov. 9th that sparked the turn-around. Who knew?
