guys just so you know the game is not recognizing soderstrom as catcher eligible. i have written strat but given the level of effort out of them i am not confident this will be resolved by the time we end the draft which sucks since he should be my primary catcher vs rhp!

Lance, meaning what exactly?? You can't list him for a draft as a catcher?? or you can't put him in a lineup as a catcher? The draft part is easy to get around just draft a third catcher and drop him after the autodraft. The lineup would be an issue though.

so it appears it is as you said. need two "primary" catchers for draft and can drop the third catcher after the draft. we'll see.

It's not a new issue, been that way for years. Just draft a third and once the draft runs, drop the third guy and you'll be fine.
