That means if you get just one extra flare a week, just one, a gork, a ground ball — a ground ball with eyes! — you get a dying quail, just one more dying quail a week and you’re in Yankee Stadium.” Crash Davis

Ya got that working for you Joe!

I will keep that in mind when I council Mike Trout .100/.217/.100 and Jose Abreu .119/.260/.286.

I need *something* to work for me! ;)

Dale, yeah, be patient, those guys will come along. There are a LOT of anomalies this early. Harper, Voit, Winker, Betts, Rios, Lowe all under the Mendoza line (others too of course, just picked a few names)

Another BS v Hawk and 3 unearned runs (because my 1e6 3b boots one) to lose the other game. Someone is living the high life.

We put 6 LHB up against walker and only got 4 runners in 5 IP. Would have had 7 LHb, but Seager was out for two. Ugh.

Eh, it's early, but this season hasn't gone well so far. :(

Luck over skill every time

Someone check Jeep’s player meal plan - he is getting huge returns from feeding his guys his old jeep.

Is Munoz pinching himself

I can't keep Huff on the field. He will miss 11 of the first 20 games when this current injury ends. I think he tweaked his "vitamin" regimen without consultation.

Absolutely, better to be lucky than good! 8-)

Yeah, I also noticed that Jeep is hitting over .300 as a team! Just think what he'd be doing if Huff *was* playing! :o ;)

Through the first 15 games, Jeep’s team is the one (1) I’m checking fanduel for odds.

His batters eat anything tossed at them. The Huff and Kirk battery need to get COVID less we move the fences back and add more talc to the toss.

Luckily, HAL a has a soft spot for the underdog.

In case you haven't noticed, and judging by the attendance you haven't, the Mowglis managed to win a few here and there, and are threatening to climb out of the cellar.

LOL

We have the makings of a solid .500 squad. Devin Williams is sporting a 7+ ERA and we're hitting .200. Having a bunch of Mario Mendozas at the plate without the outstadning fielding isn't going to work.

We have a +13 run dif, but it appears we only score in one game a series.

Our first foray from another Division was the Braumeisters and they started their head-hunting from the get go. Rios HBP 3 times in Game 1. The very game I finally get Huff back, Kirk goes down. (Sh*t) Anyway, gotta have a talk with my guys as I think they were indeed intimidated by the aggressive play of said Braumeisters. Just want to say we will have a different attitude next time. If you have noticed who our Manager is, then you know he won't put up with that.
