I wondered how long Straily was gonna sit there. He wouldn't have made it to the 10th round I can tell you that

I was wondering the same about Garcia, who I would have tabbed this round had lakeview not jumped in front of me.

I did double and triple check that Straily wasn't already taken or on someone's roster, just thought it was odd considering how early he has gone in other drafts

I had Garcia up for my pick before I got a chance to add Morneau.

well, after trying to pick the best player available in round 1, it seemed clear to me that this team was pretty set in the everyday lineup and needed pitching pitching and more pitching. I have to say , for coming in on the fly I'm pretty happy with the look of the team
