Guys,
I've updated the roster sheet, please let me know if there are any mistakes. I've also changed the rules based on propositions 5 and 6 of the vote we recently had.
I noticed one point that seemed ridiculous to me in the supplemental draft rules, so I suggest we change it:
3) Owners may draft no more than 3 players; Owners are not required to draft any players during the Supplemental draft
I move we strike this law, for the following reasons:
We still have the 36 total players law, limiting the draft to three rounds, which I would like it to remain.
It's complicated and weird in that I have to go back and make sure that no one drafted more than 3 players, but there are easy ways to circumvent it in most cases. Witness Peter's deal for Ray's 1st round pick in this draft. In theory, this could have put him over the limit for # of picks (I had to look that he'd only made 3, which took a bit of time), but he could easily have made the same deal by delaying it until Ray picked and then making the same trade. Since he would then have acquired the player and not the pick, he wouldn't have been over the limit.
It just seems that this rule opens us up to frustrating technicalities, without adding any benefit.
Please vote when you have a chance, a yes vote removes the rule:
Vote on removing rule 3 from Supplemental draft rules:
TefJ - Yes
Others should feel free to suggest rule changes like divisions and stuff, or discuss reaching a compromise on adjusting the first round draft clock.
