baseballmike, your team is in the Midwest Div, not the East.

Please remove your team from the league so that JMP1 can load his.

That way he doesn't affect anyone else's pick, he's got enough to draft his team and someone like Neshek who does have some value in the future isn't available unless he trades him or decides to drop him next year.

If there are no objections, I have no problem with willmurr dropping any of his players and then drafting after all other picks have been made. This situation was not envisioned in the rules and that would seem like a reasonable compromise at this point.

I hope that I'm not the only one who has issue with this.

1) Did Willmurr not already drop the maximum number of players allowed in a draft year?
2) This lack of planning should have some sort of penalty.
3)If we are allowing him to drop players because he has too many uncarded players then he should have to drop uncarded players. Owings has a 2009 card.
4) If we are allowing carded players to be dropped then it should be Vasquez. I am in the top division and it will be tough enough to make playoffs, Vasquez will give the rest of his division a 3-5 win boost, which is a lot for a player with no future gain.

Just my thoughts, I will go with whatever the commish decides.

agree with Piloneus. letting a guy just drop players defeats the purpose of a maximum amt of drops which was a Major part of the league. Part of what makes this league so intriguing is that you HAVE to keep bad players sometimes if you load up on a certain year. Very against just letting players be dropped. Understand him being forced to trade them but it would have to be to someone who would keep them. thus, it should have been planned for and done way before now.

by the way, this situation was definitely "envisioned" or talked about. we repeatedly said that the max drop rule was an INTEGRAL part of the league and what made it a great strategy point of how to build a team. just letting someone off the hook doesn't work.... and this should NEVER happen. gotta be more vigilant with how many guys you have that are uncarded and maybe you have to drop them as part of your drops (even if you don't want to) just to make sure you are roster compliant. What to do now sucks, because it's gotten this far. I guess Piloneus' solution is best but even that is letting him off the hook somewhat. he should have 18 guys that were also on last year's roster, so if any of the guys he did drop had 09 cards, then he should have kept them instead of all of the uncarded players.

I I can pick up Erstad who I had dropped and I am sure no one wants ,I need a straight RP and no one I dropped at that position has an 2009 card. I can offer in a trade Neshek no 2009 card but a good future for anyones worst RP only
