Divisional League - Load Teams

The first bona fide 2b I have in the NL East are Edgardo Alfonzo or Chase Utley, yippee-ki-yay, hardly first choice or even second or third choices in a 225M cap league, so I'm making an appeal for Ross Barnes to be declared a Brave since he played for the BRS who are listed under the Braves organization in BASEBALL REFERENCE.

I'm okay with this but I am looking for input/approval by other Managers. I was initially hesitant to give the NL East 3 NEL players, so 2 NEL players and the rights to Barnes seems fair. Any other thoughts?

Let's actually plan on waivers. Gives Managers a chance to rank/acquire any players where the high priced card of another division is not actually selected, and therefore a lower priced card from another division can be selected.

Ballpark restrictions to those in your division, I assume?

Yes - your selected ballpark should be a park that one of your division's franchises had actually played in.

I'm fine with Barnes as a Brave. Since Baseball reference is our standard, we should follow the listings on these 19th century players... listed with Braves, belongs to Braves, listed with Pirates, belongs to Pirates et al.

Having Barnes as a Brave is a good move.

This seems reasonable. If Baseball Reference has a pre-1900 player associated with a particular franchise, then he will belong to that franchise. If there is no such reference, that player is available for drafting by any Manager. Again, this does not include the NEL league.
