I have a question. If a player played for and is carded to two different franchises, Rocky Colavito for example, who gets priority? Or is it just luck of the auto-draft?

It’s the later. You’ve got to fight over players who played for multiple teams in each season’s applicable time period. There is no priority given, regardless of which teams a player is or isn’t carded for.

Beginning with the 2nd season, you can use your picks in the two-round franchise-keeper/free agent claiming draft to go after your top contested guy(s) pre-auto draft.
