We're getting tough questions from the press corp so we decided to hire a tough team spokesperson...
Reporter: "Some people are saying that the team had no back-up first baseman and had to sign a back-up. Can you expound on that?"
Jen Psaki: "Who's saying that?"
Reporter: "I have a source from another team. And there was the signing today."
Psaki: "I think weve been very clear that we will put out the best team we can. Today's signing was part of that..."
Reporter: "So no truth to the rumor that the team forgot to have a back-up at first base?
Psaki: "Anyone can play first base. We got plenty of first base gloves. I hope that clarifies any concerns you might have. Next question?"
Lost 2 out of three. I can live with that considering I had two triple A level starters and a 1b signed today from an independent league...
