In a trade to be effective after the start of the supp draft, tcochran sends Brandon Nimmo to Ninersphan in exchange for his 1st rd supp draft pick

Terry, FYI the rules state that owners can select no more than 3 players in the Supp Draft. Trading Nimmo takes your post-drop roster down to 36. Do you want to reclaim one of your drops so that you end up with 40 after the draft?

Confirmed. No drop needed. I will now only have two supp picks and Terry will have four.

if the trade of supplemental picks is being allowed,

I withdraw my drop of Raimel Tapia

and send him to Ninersphan

in exchange for his 2nd pick in the supplemental draft

No to Terry having 4 picks as per my previous post. Terry will have to forfeit his original Round 3 pick. He can claim back one of his drops if he’d like.

OK, I missed that subtlety -- so the trade does not provide me with a 4th pick, but instead bumps one of my picks from the 3rd rd to the 1st rd. I can live with that.

And yes, I will un-drop Josh Bell, now that I have roster space.

also, just out of curiosity, what's the rationale for that rule?
