My team that still has not realized the first thing...they pitch the ball, you hit the ball. Stats now a glowing .190/.271/.394.

Mike Trout hitting a blistering .157/.284/.388 (12) hr's (16) rbi. Team winning percentage of a stellar .370.

Dale, I hear ya. Williams got shelled by Jeep tonight when he has only 2 LHP on his entire team! How does that happen?

And somehow a lineup with 6 LHB v Scherzer can't score morethan 4 runs. AND with Rios catching we only steal one base.

Meanwhile the Lightning win another series.

From a different perspective, I'd like to look at it this way. I play a nice game with a solid win "despite" Rios having to fill in at Catcher, despite Fuentes having to move to 3B, where he is a "4" rating as opposed to his "2" at 1B. Lastly, Cooper (8L) came in at 1B and went yard against a Righty. No errors, solid 11-4 victory in that game. So I'd like to comment on my team stepping it up, along with the fact (helped by the higher cap) that I put together this squad to be able to account for injuries. Mads (.402 BA) filling in when Huff/Kirk has been injured as been a Godsend. Definitely one of my best draft picks that might have flown under the radar. AJ is a platoon when all are healthy, but his being able to step into the RH LU when there's injuries, has been a huge lift.

We HAVE to keep winning. All four teams in our division are over .500 and don't show any signs of letting up. Normally after a win streak, my team's then go on losing skein.
Thought they were headed that way last night after Toshiro clocked me in first game.
But "ka pow" Lightning pulled the next two out. :) I'm afraid this may go down to the wire, yet again!

Yeah, you can live with a 2e23 at 2b if they're going to hit .400! Crazy average this late in the season. You're still hitting 20+ points higher than anyone else in the league. Very impressive.

Yeah, it's a crazy tough division to be sure. It will be interesting to see how things shake out when we start playing each other again. I didn't do so well last time around. Hoping it's better next time!

Jeep took revenge on the Lightning tonight! I was a lucky bp hr 1-6 in the 9th away from getting swept.
Philly and Mowglis did sweep....tighter still.
Hope it's not the start of my seasonal mid-season swoon.

Mowgli's lost 2 again interdivision, as did the Lightning (ka chow!). Top to bottom, tough go of it!!

At least one of us has to win at least two tonight, right? Preferably me!

BTW: What was UP with the Giant's uniforms last night? Those are some serious PJ's! :) That is sour grapes speaking, since they beat the Dodgers again!! Nice throw by Cody! It's not enough that he is batting .160, and Roberts bats him 5th, but then airmails a throw in the 8th. Urgh! New ways to lose! Maybe the Giants ARE for real? Nah!! :)

I HATE those unis. They suck so bad. All the team have their "city connect" uniforms. The Giants are terrible. Not sure LA has released theirs yet.

Giants aren't very good, they just find a way to win more games, so far, than anyone else. Hard to explain how they do it. Got lucky last night for sure, two walks and a throwing error for the winning run. Bellinger was brain dead on the throw. Just take the DP and get the next hitter. Even if he gets Posey, the Giants would have had the go ahead run at 2b. AND, I don't think even a good throw would have gotten him. *Maybe* a perfect, one foot above the bag would have, but it was a stupid risk to take. He got too cute.

Dang, we've won one series all season in our division. :( Thought we had a good chance tonight with Rendon out and being at home but....Escobar a .50 pickup for the series does this: .273/.385/.818 !#%!&*#^*@%!!! You gotta be kidding me.
