Does anyone else have an opinion on the new Super-Advanced injury rules?

My opinion is that I like idea of the new injury rules, but would not feel it appropriate to implement until next year since player transactions were made and player values judged for our 2016 seasons based upon the continuation of existing injury rules.

We should vote as soon as possible about enabling the rules for next year, however, as it could conceivably impact our upcoming FA draft, Supplemental Draft, and trades over the course of this year.

I would be in favor of enabling them beginning with the 2016 season's card set next year.

Finally read what it's all about.

I'm fine with staying as is for this year as you suggest and then converting to new rules next year.

I'm wondering in a 24 team league with only 30 players if the chance of 60 game injuries may be crippling. Depending on how it plays out a team might be short on players.
Only a 5 man "minor league" roster from which to draw from, If a team was carrying a player or 2 that has no card even less.

If we did implement it could/should we increase roster size by even 2 players? Or if a player goes on 60 day DL be able to temporarily remove him from the 30 man roster and use a Free Agent, similar to the 60-day DL in the majors?

Just a couple thoughts

I was just trying to post the same thing but you beat me to it.
Before we consider the new injury settings. We have to remember our minor league team only has up to 5 players on it. The injury of the pitchers with every batter taking a shot at them every time up. Yikes!

If we wanted to increase our minor league depth there would be a couple ways.

1. Stick with 20 keepers and expand the draft a couple rounds 12-15
2. Expand keeper rosters by 2-5 and keep draft at 10 rounds.
3. Implement the ability to add "free agent" players if players go on 60 day DL
