Yeah, you're pretty much down in every category except for rolling on your own card. That you've done better than anyone!

Happy Fourth of July weekend to everyone on the list! Be safe and have fun. For you guys in other countries, you have my permission to take Monday off to celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence! ;)

Oh, and I guess today is Canada Day so double celebration! :D

You'd think giving Kershaw a 6-0 lead would be enough, but he has to give up 11 earned runs, 16 hits and a walk in 5.2 innings. Sheesh!!!

It was not a misprint. The Accents did indeed get a sweep last night. :o

Spider, that's pretty odd for sure.

Congrats Jeep!

As we come down to the last 18 games, here's the playoff situation:

East
The only race that is really in doubt. All four teams could get hot and get in, but Doug is in the driver's seat with a 3 game lead over Stoney

Central
Semper looks like a lock. It would take a big collapse for that not to happen

West
JTJ clinched the Division tonight.

WC
Here is where it is really interesting. Stoney currently holds the spot with 73 wins, but five teams are within four games of the spot. This looks to go down to the wire for sure.

Here's what it looks like:

Code: Select all
Owner...   W   L
Stoney18   73   71
MichaelG   71   73
dalekeen   71   73
gbrookes   70   74
superfly   70   74
nythawk1   69   75

The short and long of it is that the only teams that are completely out are Spider and Big A. Jeep is a very long shot, but it is possible.

Just wrapped up a 14-7 week. Too little, too late though.

Happy 4th Everybody! It's going to be 100 again here today. It's been suffocatingly hot, and we have the humidity too.

It's crazy how my team made such a turnaround, we're actually in 2nd place now. WC is long odds, however, with several other teams in there too, but at least we made a comeback from the awful play of the first 3/4 of the season.
