NLD 39 - Yep, still going strong

This was one of the more fun teams I've had this season with some great performances by the players.

Always interesting to see the Awards section. Phanatics were 2nd & 3rd in MVP votes. 1st, 2nd, and 5th in Cy Young. 1st or 2nd in every position player All Star except for LF. Plus 3 SP and 2 RP. Not sure why Pence was 2nd in MVP because team MVP was Beltre with Lucroy and his 63 doubles right behind.

Congrats Stones! Well done.

NP, well at least you got a credit out of your NLD foray. Sorry you won't be back.

I suspect you will need a replacement for Michael Grammes he's AWOL in a keeper league we are both in. Thanks for the invite it was nice to actually make a playoff never mind the finals in an NLD as I'm sure Joe can attest m record in that department isn't the best.

First & foremost congratulations to Stoney on a well earned Championship - and great effort Ninersphan - at the very least what a way to go out on your special appearance!

As for my team, as per usual for the past few seasons, I set it & forget it. I used a strategy I was not all too comfortable with, and did not like my draft spot either lol. And while disappointed, I cannot say I am too surprised at how bad my team performed. My offence relied on too many unpredictable platoons, and none of my big guns did much.

At least my pitching did well - which is a rare and pleasant surprise.

Anyways, I will be able to return, provided the draft does not start until the 25th or later, as my work schedule until then is just too hectic & varied for me to be able to commit to a live draft. Personally I know I am getting close to the end of my run with Stratomatic and I would hate to end on such a bad team performance, but at the same time I know all things have to end at some point.

So if due to other owners schedules, or no desire for any delay, I need to be replaced, that is totally acceptable & understandable. If you can wait a couple of weeks though, then I am good to go for 1 more NLD.
