I don't think "future considerations" is illegal as long as it isn't a PLAYER that is going to be named later, and as long as it isn't a trade that involves giving your stuff away now in order to get stuff back in a future season.
Yeah, I saw it as really saying "Let's move on, we'll figure this sh*t out later!"
In any case, the deal is apparently off now...
