Many of us are veterans of the retro keeper leagues, where the stated year is always the year of the card set -- i.e., the year in which the games were played.

For consistency, I use that same nomenclature in all of my leagues. The upcoming draft in this league, for example, is for the 2012 season.

So just to make sure we are all on the same page, is this correct:
