Jeep, in fairness to the group, we're learning a new draft site. I used a proxy pick with my first pick, but now I want to go back to see how I did it again. I've got to find the email that describes how to do a proxy pick, unless someone can just post it here for me, again. If so, thanks.

Please forgive me, I'm an accountant, and although I live in Canada, I still do a fair number of US tax returns with April 15 deadlines! So I've spent most of my waking hours with a cup of coffee clicking on boxes for tax slips and reading instructions on forms!!! :) :? :)

I'll be done that wave of deadlines fairly soon :? . I'm happy to say that I've got through most of them already! 8-)

I have no problem with the progress so far, its actually been way better than last seasons draft which was awful at the start.

Not like Joe to take this long to pick. Hopefully we can make some progress today. Only because I believe arryl won't be available for a few days starting the 18th...I hope we can be loaded up by then.

Hey Guys,

Remember I'm on the West Coast. I got up, went and worked out and came home to find I'm on the clock. Looking to make a pick right now.

Still learning this cardset. I'll know who I want with this pick and next very soon.

Corky, I agree with you. We've made a lot of progress for a weekend. More than we usually do.

A Trade to Announce:

Donaldson will be going to JTJ's squad in return for their 6th round pick.

AT will pick in my next slot.

It will probably cause me cap issues, but what the heck.

I received a crash course on the cards playing in a F2F $$ strat tournament this weekend.

I grabbed AT&T and had nearly all 1s in the field with Y Gomes behind the plate. Found myself with a solid rotation and a durable bullpen (4 inning limit over any 4 games).

Despite the tour's draft analysis putting my team a consensus #3 out of 12 teams, I got crushed in tour play.

In a span of 12 games, Andrew McCutchen has 0 hits, Dustin Pedroia has 3 errors (2 in consecutive innings), and I watched a power park team hit 6 HRs at AT&T via 4 *1* rolls (2 in one inning).

When three opposing managers remark, "god, I've never had these great rolls and splits ever" - you know to grab you cards and go home.

Lesson learned - when you can't identify the idiot in the room - it's likely *you* :D
