Ok, this data is before the recent flurry of moves. I'll have to update when I get a chance, but it gives a decent read on what has happened so far. These are just raw numbers so...

Code: Select all
.......   Linup   Pit.   Bch   SPs..   RPs..   Tot
Dale...   44.2   30.8   5.0   20.00   10.80   80.0
JTJ....   44.3   30.6   5.1   20.11   10.50   80.0
Big A..   45.0   32.5   2.5   24.08   8.41   80.0
Semper.   40.3   34.6   5.1   27.20   7.43   80.0
GBrook.   48.8   24.4   6.7   12.55   11.89   79.9
Spider.   43.1   29.7   7.1   21.14   8.57   79.9
Smokey…   48.4   28.0   3.5   13.59   14.40   79.9
Stoney.   47.6   28.3   3.9   16.74   11.60   79.8
zim....   43.2   33.2   3.2   20.11   13.04   79.5
MG.....   40.9   35.9   2.7   22.87   12.98   79.5
Hawk...   46.2   27.4   5.4   15.32   12.11   79.0
AT.....   43.7   23.2   11.2   9.42   13.78   78.1

Average   44.6   29.9   5.1   18.6   11.3

Starting with the lineups. GB and Smokey are at the top of the list and they are 2-3 in runs scored. MG is next to last in $$ spent and is leading the league in scoring. Now, the park does impact this, but.... Semper had actually spent the least on lineups but is actually middle of the pack in runs.

MG and Big A have spent close to the minimum on benches. I guess they are hoping to stay healthy. Zim isn't much ahead of them. AT with all of his injury players leads by a good margin.

Total pitching dollars spent is lead by 1.3 by MG of Semper. MG is second, but Semper's pitching, apparently has under performed for the Money spent. GB and AT are far and away at the bottom in money spent. Both of their staffs would, apparently, over perform the amount spent.

Semper had, by a large margin the most expensive SPs. AT has spent an amazing 9.42 on his SPs!

In terms of RPs, Smokey is the only one over 14 mil and Spider, Big A and Semper are the only ones in single digits.

All for tonight, but it would be interesting to hear all of your take on the salary amounts and from Semper, Hawk and Dale about their moves before the first "slide" of the waiver price.

Well...my team was a dumpster fire from jump......a couple minor moves helped somewhat but can't survive with a SS and 2b "3". Need to to upgrade CF I guess next...just didn't workout the way I had thought.....

Yeah, starting two 3's up the middle is tough. And, it's not like they are both .300 hitters either.

Semper? Hawk?

Wow, quietist NLD ever. Come on guys, let's at least have some complaining out there.

Who's sucked for you? Who's doing well?

For me, that 12 game streak has been the only good streak of the year. It's enough to keep us in the race however.

Panda has had 3, 3 game injuries already and we've lost Cano a couple of times also. Injuries haven't been kind, but they could be worse.

Samardzija still is getting pounded on the hitter's cards, but as a whole we've come back to a reasonable split. It's still 51% on the hitters', could be better, but it's not horrible any more.

Most of our hitters are below what I would think they should hit, but we're, somehow, scoring runs reasonably. <shrug>

On the good side, Jaso and my RF platoon of Schafer/Holt are doing well. The pen has put up some decent numbers but we have a lousy 14 of 22 save situations ratio. Tillman has been very good. Go figure.

That's about it for us. How about the rest of you? Anything??????

About what I expected with so few HR parks in the league. I have big lead in HR's and top 2 players in OPS (Cutch & Rizzo) but middle of the pack in runs scored. Less than 50% on the Ballpark rolls is to be expected but not good for this team.

Wouldn't have expected pitching to be significantly worse on the road though.

The dice have been kind to me, so far (pitching 1097-1035 edge and hitting 1062-1030 edge). I have a nice edge in completing DPs, but that was expected when I built this team. My biggest disappoint has been a low run-support for Hughes, only 42 runs in 14 starts. We are still down 5 in 1-run games.

I like my team and that makes me a bit nervous.

Ugh! Are you friggin' kidding me? Three straight one run losses to Smokey? Frick.

He had literally NO LOB in the last game while we had 7. Three base runners, all HRs. Three 1-11 Hrs. A 16% chance. Ouch.

Two more 1-run losses - egad!! Hughes has been my best starter and has five 1-run losses - maybe he's a clubhouse irritant. :(

Someone needs to jinx Geoff - he's up 15-2 in 1-run games.

Lost two more one runners tonight! Dang it! Come on guys quit choking! :(

Lost the first game in 14 giving up a 1-7 HR to tie and then a 1-6 single to lose.

Lost the third game in 10. Another BS for our squad. Oh, and two unearned runs when my platoon e6 RF Schafer made his 4th E of the season. Lost the game in the 10th because my 2 RF allowed a guy from first to go to second on a RFx. What the heck is going on?

oh, and did I mention that lost Cano to his fourth injury this time a 3 gamer?

When it rains it pours I guess. Hopefully we have another 12 game win streak in us. 8-)

I didn't look at Sunday's scores yet...

But Jesus guys, ya really don't hafta roll over for the new guy to make him feel good.

Looking at my team, besides my pitching, which, I'm not sure how all my Spers have sub 3 eras...

My hitting is bad. The only thing I have going for me hitter wise, is I have lots of SO hitters, which means way less dps. That, is the only thing that really stands out for my team.

Just looked at tonight's games...

Counting them, my team pitched 4 consecutive shut outs(!) and overall didn't allow a run spanning 44 innings over 6 games...
