So, I'm late to this...but if someone screws up according to the rules, and turns a player back in, I'm ok with letting that go--as long as it stands to the original draft order. Someone in the middle of the round shouldn't be able to say "Oh, wait..." and take the stud player that was just put into the fold. I actually had a prospect that I discovered yesterday who had a card this year. I didn't think it was ethical to ask to give him back six rounds into the draft. C'mon guys. I may be the new guy but I call bullshit.

I mean, if he'd been available one pick sooner,,, I'd have f*****g taken him. Not cool. (you'll note that I took a 1B only--whom I was picking as a lefty DH...how weird that Dalbec is forty points better on OPS and a 1B...) WRONG

I'd say this... Dalbec was not listed on the Keepers Spring 2022 page of the league GoogleDoc. I used that list to come up with my own available players list independently. I didn't notice he was not on Page2's Hitters 2022 list until after I had posted my pick, which was made based on the aforementioned independent research.

Granted, this thread is the official record of the league... so any communication that may have affected a team's keepers should have been posted on it. But still... anyone could have identified the error at any point.

I've missed out on players in other drafts because of my mistakes in my independent research, so it cuts both ways for me. But I guess I have always understood that available players lists are put together with no guarantees of accuracy.

Should I be penalized for putting in more effort?
