Herm sent me another text today. He said that Sandy and its aftermath have left him unsure of when he'll be able to draft, but that he anticipates being unable to do so for at least the next few days. He doesn't want to hold us up and he offered to bow out of the league. I replied that he likely wasn't the only one with Sandy related issues, that he should stay out of harms way and should take care of business. I asked him to check back with me at the end of the week.
As far as I'm concerned, we can wait for Herm to pick up the pieces. He's got his priorities straight.
It makes no difference to me when we complete the draft. I hope everyone remains on board.
I'm fine with waiting as well. Obviously, Herm is in difficulties that outweigh Strat. When he finally gets settled, he'll let us know and we can resume. Let's just keep watching this site.
I totally agree. Happy to wait for as long as it takes everybody to get back to something resembling normal. This is one time when the warnings about the storm of the century turned out to be tragically true. I am still in shock over the extent of the damage and the size of Sandy. It covers an area the size of Europe.
