I apologize profusely for the day long Rip Van Winkle I pulled on Friday afternoon. And I particularly want to thank our Good Buddy Biggie Ric for waiting a few extra minutes for me to pick. I had actually set a few Proxies because I knew I'd be away from online for part of the day ... but forgot to include the "On" button when I saved them.

You guys weren't going to draft Josh Gibson anyway, right? I mean 22 picks in ... and ... and ... really appreciate the courtesy, Ric.

Tried to make it up to ya with some 2 AM and 4 AM picks, though ...

Since we finished the draft as soon as we did, what about moving the frenzy up to Wed. or Thurs. to give us more time to "tweek" our teams?

We already drafted the bulk of our teams. Mostly all scrubs left.

OK I see Jon (traderj) filled the league, I didn't get an email from him that he had filled the league.

Frenzy will be at 9:00 PM EST Thursday, at this late hour I'm not sure I could contact everyone for tonight.

Alright having time to reflect I'm going to propose these changes to our LA-Z-BOY Schedule and league loading

First, Frenzy time will now always be a moving target, with Friday Frenzy as a default. All frenzies would have a 9:00 PM EST the next day following the SOM auto-draft with the possible exception of a Friday fill which would require a SOM mandated 11:00 PM EST. I like the 9:00 PM EST for two reasons, first it's still a reasonable hour in the east and it's after dinner for our West managers

We (League) are a victim of our own success drafting in five days instead of the scheduled eight. I don't want to stop letting the draft float a day or two with no clock because we usually just do Rds 1& 2 where the big boys are drafted and no one can be "timed out" with a clock. Plus there always seems to be a snag entering the league (see below).

Second, Entering the league
Since we usually have a 100% return rate with only an occasional manager leaving from time to time. I'm going to ask moving forward that everyone have their team purchased before we start the draft. This serves two purposes, you can easily load your drafted players and also massage your roster after all the "weasel" picks. Plus it has the added benefit of having the ability to enter the league when draft is completed, at this point of the draft a five or ten minute process. I think and hope this will stream line the league loading process so it can be completed in no more than 24 hours after completion of draft. I know everyone hates to sit around with a drafted team that can't be reworked before opening day.

I think this proposal moving forward will lessen any confusion there might be and keep the league fun for all.

Last bit of Business: LA-Z-BOY 53 (LIII) will be a 105 Million Cap, D/H, 5,10, 20 drop
we will then return to our original LA-Z-Boy formula of 100 Mil Cap, No D/H, 5,10, 20 drop
